If it is match fixing, it will be very obvious when some of the legendry cricketers who are in good form will loose their wickets (get out) easily for no reason (like run - out) or and good bowler will out perform properly. Because these well paid criketers are agreed for a lum-sum amount of money and perform in favour of other team to win. If you are a cricket adherent, you know what i mean.

To me, This is first time I smell that NBA got rigged in favor of Miami-Heat despite their poor performace except Dwyane-Wade (aka Flash!!) for his sole and brillaint performace, Ofcoure basketball is not a one man game!! NBA finals was almost decided in favor of Dallas - Mavericks when they were 2-0 lead. Its all started when the game moved to Miami and the officials are started to support in favor of miami, there are lot of calls which are under dispute, unnecessary suspension on stackhouse during the crucial game 5.

The only difference between match fixing in Cricket and NBA is, in cricket bunch of bookies will pay the key players to underperform whereas in NBA, The whole organization (not the teams) + the officials will do in favor of the team which is hot in making more money buy selling tickets and merchandise!!

Red Hat Goes All Out for Developers

If you were looking for new products at Red Hat's second annual Red Hat Summit, you came to the wrong place. IIT is basically for Engineering Technology and IIM is for Management. Inorder to get an B.Tech admission in IIT, one has pass the grueling "JEE" (Joint Enterance Examination, conducted across India) is the toughest enterance exam in the world. To get an idea about IIT, put MIT, Harvard and Princeton together and you come to know the status of IIT.

Ministry of HRD (Human Resourse Development) under the present Indian goverment (ruling congress party headed by Prime Minsiter Dr. Manmohan Singh), decided to Implement 27 % reservation quota for OBC (other backward caste) from next year onwards to all central universities includes IITs and IIMs. These universites are getting financial grant from the central (federal) government. With 27 % increase to the existing quota, which takes the total of whopping 49.5%. which means other castes (In India basically education system is based on the stupid caste system) candidate (rememeber the population in India , 1+ Billion) has to fight for the remaining quota!!.

I strongly against this move, which is basically bad to the country. I cannot understand why this stupid congress want to implement the quota in higher education? I strongly suggest who ever wants to get in to the premier institution should purely based on merit. You know what this will going to happen in future? Think about a below average candiate (just scored mere pass marks in his graduation), just because he / she is OBC and got admission to these elite institute which not fair compared to an outstanding candiate who can't secure an adminsion to the institute because of this fucking caste system? Think about the outcome of the below average candidate who (if at all ) graduated from these elite institute, will be the same below average joe.

I request everybody to strongly oppose this stupid quota system.

Hello Congress please wakeup!!

Lotus fires back at Microsoft's Notes rhetoric

John Fontana, Lotus has no intent to back off its stated commitment to provide backward compatibility for all Notes applications regardless of reports to the contrary this week from longtime rival Microsoft.

Can Microsoft comes up with a clean product for Collabration Platform to compete with Lotus Notes / Domino??? With ZENworks 7 Linux Management, organizations can reduce the overhead required to manage Linux systems. Novell ZENworks 7 Linux Management provides complete lifecycle management for Linux platforms, including SUSE LINUX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, adding imaging, configuration lockdown, remote management, inventory and software management. ZENworks 7 Linux Management is the only solution that uses Policy-Driven Automation to centrally deploy, manage and maintain Linux resources no matter where they reside in the network.
Dennis Large, University of Louisville IT LAN administrator, said, "As we move ahead with our Linux strategy, we need complete confidence that the tools we put in place will keep us in control and contain costs. ZENworks Linux Management will allow us to quickly gather updates and patches and efficiently distribute them to our many Linux servers." The product is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2005.

First Posting

This is my first posting..
